Theta Healing was founded by Vianna Stibal, Idaho Falls, USA. In August 1995, Vianna was diagnosed with bone cancer in her right leg. She started healing herself with various health practices and a belief change technique that later became known as theta healing.
The term theta refers to the theta brain wave. The brain wave activates when we go to sleep and when we wake up. It brings about mind and body healing by connecting with the subconscious mind. In fact, the theta brain wave is sought to be the subconscious. This part of our brain holds memories
and experiences from this life and past lives. When being in theta you experience deep levels of relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety levels.
Furthermore, you have the ability to program your subconscious to live a positive, healthier and happier life.
Theta Healing is a meditative technique that creates physical, psychological, an
d spiritual healing while the client and practitioner are in a theta brainwave state.
Theta Healing enables belief changes in the subconscious on four different levels:
1) Beliefs we have learned and accepted in this life,
2) Beliefs we have inherited from our ancestors,
3) Beliefs we have brought into his life from another life time,
4) Beliefs that hold grief and sorrow in our soul.
In Theta Healing sessions the client sits opposite the practitioner. In most cases both hold hands. I ask my client whether I can go into her space so that I can connect with her mind and body.
The client then tells me what issue she wants to work on.
In Theta Healing we look for the core belief that is holding together the entire belief system that
my client has accumulated throughout this life and other life times.
The technique applied during sessions is called muscle testing (applied kinesiology) to find the core belief. The practitioner asks open questions to find out which belief is in the subconscious mind. Once this is found, the practitioner goes into the Theta State and commands the change of all the negative beliefs into the positive. The change of beliefs is instance and bring lightness to the person’s body and mind. The client feels loved again, regains balance and positive changes in their
lives. Other benefits include lowering of the heart rate, increased levels of creativity, increased intuition, spiritual development as well as an improved emotional connection with the self and others.
